Our French preschool is located at 2738 Dundas St. W. in The Junction. We occupy the ground floor of the freshly renovated Macaroni Factory Building. We boast two spacious, light-filled and fully equipped classrooms for a total capacity of 36 children.
In 2025-26, our preschool programs are available in half-day formats (8:30-11:30 AM) or full-time formats (8:30 AM-2:25 PM). Half-day options include twice-a-week or three-times-a-week attendance. As per provincial requirements, our full-time programs last slightly less than 6 hours.
In order to facilitate the registration process, we invite all interested parents to connect with us directly at (416) 346-7261 to secure a spot for their child. Alternatively, you can fill out a short application form. We recommend prospective parents to schedule a meeting with us before filling out the full Preschool Enrolment form below.
We are currently in the process of being licensed by the Province. However, our space is fully ready and open for tours. Be sure to follow us on Facebook to keep in the loop!

French Immersion preschool – A Springboard to French As a second language instruction
Why to choose our French preschool
Whether you consider applying for Early French Immersion or are looking for consistent exposure to French for your child, we have your best interest at heart.
We are not simply a French daycare, but an educational institution with a strong early literacy program. Our classrooms and environment are designed to promote the French language and culture using quality learning resources, a well-rounded curriculum and methodology. From the start we implement various strategies to help students develop effective second language skills in an intuitive and natural way.
Our qualified Early Childhood educators are also French native speakers. Furthermore, our director and program coordinators have a strong background in the field of French a Second Language instruction with over 15-year experience in Toronto schools, and share a thorough understanding of the Ontario French Immersion curriculum.

Approach and pedagogy in our French preschool
Ensuring your child’s wellbeing
At Kids’ French School, we are committed to providing every child with exceptional care and a safe, highly structured and enriching environment. Our dedicated team of professionals are passionate about nurturing, educating, and ensuring your child’s wellbeing.
How Does Learning Happen?
As a soon-to-be-licensed preschool, we fully adhere to the guidelines, goals and expectations set out in the provincial learning resource: How Does Learning Happen? Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years. We acknowledge and value children’s health and overall wellbeing, their sense of belonging and their role as capable, curious and active learners.
A flexible, language-rich curriculum
We embrace the principles of an open, flexible curriculum, also known as “Emergent Curriculum”. As further defined in the official learning resource, the Emergent Curriculum in the early years aims to foster the “development of strategies, dispositions and skills for lifelong learning through play and inquiry”, rather than focusing on covering a predetermined set of topics. Furthermore, it is responsive to children’s individual interests and progress.
In this perspective, our curriculum will engage children through a variety of experiences, explorations, events, and activities. Fundamentally, it will tap into the children’s natural curiosity to open new perspectives and build knowledge; increase their self-confidence and their overall awareness to others and the world around them.
Finally, we guarantee a consistent, rich exposure to the French language in a variety of contexts and situations, throughout the day. Indeed, our goal is to provide each child with an opportunity to grow and thrive in a stimulating environment – while gaining basic yet effective second language skills in the process.
