Kids' French School

Kids' French School is a unique bilingual French preschool located in the heart of Toronto. We focus on preparing preschoolers for a successful Early French Immersion curriculum (starting at JK). We also provide specialty programs after school, including visuals arts, baking, in French or in both languages.

Our programs

As of September 2024, Kids' French School offers a full-day (8:30-2:25 pm) and a half-day (8:30-11:30 am) preschool program for all children aged 2.5-4. After-school and summer camps are also available for school-age children.

Preparing for French Immersion

Early exposure to French goes a long way towards developing strong second language skills. Kids' French school prepares your child effectively for Early French Immersion or French language education, as well as Core French.

Early literacy focus

We provide a highly structured, language rich environment, age-appropriate materials and an all-encompassing curriculum to support your child's literacy skills and language development.

Building bilingual foundations

French is the primary language of instruction. Our trained bilingual educators will follow an immersive approach and encourage children to interact in French and make connections between French and their first language along the way!

Our Programs in 2024-25

French preschool

The best start for a successful French curriculum throughout the early years. Open to all children aged 2.5-5 and available in half-day (3 hours) or full-day formats (6 hours).

After-school program

Our after-school program takes place between 3:30-6 PM everyday and is open to school age children (JK-grade 6). Programs include a Homework Club, arts-based activities, arts and crafts, board games, and baking classes.

French Summer Camps

Our summer camps offer children aged 4-12 the perfect blend of fun, recreational activities, short classes and outdoor trips. As of summer 2025, summer camps take place at our new location in The Junction.

Our location in The Junction (West Toronto)

Our bilingual French preschool is conveniently located in the Toronto’s Junction neighborhood (more specifically the West Bend), east of High Park, on the first floor of the newly renovated Macaroni Factory building at 2738 Dundas St W.

We are easily accessible from Dundas West Station via bus route 40 A or B and only within a 5-minute drive from Runnymede Public school.
